Family

I was born in 1963 in Cam Ranh, Vietnam and spent most of my childhood there. Cam Ranh is in what used to be South Vietnam. It sits on Cam Ranh Bay, so many of the people there make their living from the sea. Although the effects of the "American War" were all around me during my childhood, I didn't actually see any of the fighting directly. Life was difficult for our family in the sixties and seventies. My mother died in 1976 when I was just thirteen years old. I was the middle child. Sixth out of ten: nine girls and one boy. Here, I've collected pictures and other information about my husband and children, my family in Vietnam, and my husband's family here in the United States.
